Update your on-premises data gateway

Microsoft releases updates every month for on-premises data gateways, including new features and the latest Mashup Engine.
Currently, Microsoft only supports the last six releases of the on-premises data gateway, so data gateway updates should occur at a minimum of once every six months.

Update a gateway

1.

Download and run the gateway installation program. If the data gateway is already up-to-date, you'll receive one of the below error messages.​​

Select Update to begin updating.

Once the installer finishes, the data gateway is up-to-date.
